A New Way To Do "Classic"

White shirt is an essential item of every woman's wardrobe. Regardless of the profession or lifestyle, I can bet that this key item probably gets rocked at least once a month by each one of us on various occasions in different ways. And that is exactly what I wanted to mention this week - different ways of wearing the classic shirt. As the dressing preferences differ from one individual to another, it is safe to say that the "three button rule" might still remain a golden one for some of us, yet other can perceive it as boring and outdated.

Street-style influencers of London and New York Fashion Week showed us this season exactly how a classic shirt can be easily transformed into something different by wearing it back to front and buttoning it up in the most unpredictable ways (See examples here and here). Myself, always being more on the traditional side of fashion, went for a safer option and carried on with the trend that was so strongly present this summer - off the shoulder. Just undo a few extra buttons and slip your shirt just a little bellow your shoulders for a new elegant look. Don't forget to add an accessory to make an accent on your neck/décolleté area, which in my case was a skinny scarf worn backwards (yep, I've been doing that quite often recently!).
Shirt - Topshop
Trousers - Zara
