Winter Wonderland

I'm sitting here and trying to gather my thoughts together and work out what is the best structure for this post or what is the best way to express my overwhelming emotions... Maybe I should start by saying that my first trip to Norway has exceed my expectations and left me feeling more than impressed. It left me feeling like I need to say everyone I know - "YOU MUST GO".  Aside from insane nature, high standard of living and countless outdoor activities, this country has an incredible cosy feel to it with it's cartoon-like houses, wooden structures and open fires everywhere. This is a place where you go to fill your lungs with fresh clean air and experience what's it really like to be active and outdoor-sy. So what would you pack for a trip like this?

Apart from many ski outfits, I though that packing "normal" clothes is also a good idea, since I was staying at my mum's friends house and not a skiing resort. This meant many trips around the local forest, restaurants and shops, I figured skiing gear might be a little too...formal?... for such casual occasions. So on my first "non-skiing" day I played it very safe in black leather trousers (countless layers of thermal leggings underneath  though!!) and beige aviator jacket. With this outfit I had a feeling like I wore it before, so I needed something new/different to spice it up. And what can be more spicy than a pair of your very own bear paws AKA Jimmy Choo Moonboots!

I was very lucky to be able to get my hands on a pair of these for my trip, as they are sold out everywhere - and when I say this, I mean they sold old years ago! Absolutely perfect statement shoe for snowy countries, not only they are super warm, they are incredibly light too. Never ever have I worn a shoe this cosy. Although, many people did try to make a little joke about them, some even dared to call them ugly! I personally love them and if I could have other colours in those, I definitely would! What do you think bout them? Is it something you would wear?

  2. If you are preparing a beach thing, you obviously can't plan without deciding the beach you would like to visit. So, zeroing on the beach is the first thing that should be on the top of your priority list. view here
