Having developed my love for shoes very early and snapping myself a first designer pair in the form of Jimmy Choo’s black Alicia (slightly lower version of Anouk) at a tender age of 19, I grew my collection faster than I could afford. In today’s post, you can spot another newcomer to my ever-growing shoe family – Christian Louboutin Iriza in Python. Without a word of a lie, one of the most comfortable shoes I own, but let’s touch on this controversial subject in my next post…
Unlike shoes, my love for handbags grew very slowly and my first designer purchase wan’t made until I started working at Hermès, but very quickly I got bored and sold the oh-so-desired Herbag. I had no interest in bags at all and was always more than happy to settle for a cute tote from Zara (might have something to do with the fact that a good bag costs three times more than a good pair of shoes). Nevertheless, I grew older and my interests and fashion views have changed and before I knew it, I was browsing Selfridges handbag section religiously.
At that time, Chloé was dominating the “blogosphere” with everything from Drew to Hudson. I had no doubt that this brand is going to provide me with my perfect first designer handbag. After a few months of researching, searching and saving I finally took the plunge and splashed out on a beautiful Small Faye in Grey. An absolute perfection for summer months and for my wardrobe in general (versatile isn’t even a word to describe it!). Despite it’s suede flap, which I should be taking care off (meaning special occasions only), I have been wearing it every single day and I am not planning to put at the back of my wardrobe anytime soon. I hope you like it as much as I do, as you will be seeing it A LOT in the upcoming posts! 🙂
