Very common problem with any fashion trend is how fast it reaches it’s “used and abused” stage. Once the trend has entered the mass market and has been introduced to fast-fashion retailers like Zara and H&M, you start to notice that every Billy and Sally is rocking it. In fact, I am not even sure that at this stage you can tell the difference between Billy and Sally. We can all agree on the fact that the most abused trend this summer has been the “off the shoulder” silhouette. And as much as we all love to be unique and individual, we furiously keep investing into this over-consumed trend …
Feminine, elegant, floaty enough for the hot weather and absolutely dreamy (yes, I used word dreamy). There is no denying that off-the-shoulder is a perfect summer attire, therefore there can be no surprise at it’s popularity. And just like many girls, I have been absolutely hooked on it and I have no shame in it all! I feel like it suits my style perfectly and with temperatures being way over 30C I cannot even begin to justify wearing anything else other than a skin-revealing outfit (in a non-trashy way). Never forgetting to dress it up with my favourite accessories, such as a bunch of flowers :), to put an individual stamp on it and make it my own!
