Mid-heel – The perfect heel

When the heat strikes, looking good and feeling good in a big city can be challenging. Here in Kiev, temperatures have been way over 30C and as much as I wanted to rock my looks with a pair of 100mm or higher, my feet refused to even fit into anything that resembled a heel. This is when the chunky mid-heels comes into the picture and saves the day…

It is not unnatural for your feet to swell to a balloon size when the temperatures are high, and this makes practically impossible to wear most of the shoes (unless they are flip-flops, but we all know this is a fashion suicide shoe). However, as always, after a long and precise research, I have managed to find a particular style that looks just as great as it feels. Anything that’s on a chunky, small to mid high heel fits me perfectly and allows me to walk around the city in the heat all day without to much trouble.

I have grabbed a few pairs from various retailers but the pair in this post is from Solewish. Not only it is super comfortable, but it is also right on trend with it’s pom-pom detailing. Since, buying my exaggerated rose-gold sandals, I have been obsessed with pom-poms and it is so great that I have been able to find a black, understated pair – pretty self explanatory if you ask me.
