What an amazing day we’ve had on Monday! For a brief second there I thought that spring has officially arrived in London. Of course, I can’t say the same now, as it is back to rain, wind, and more wind. But even though the weather has turned grey, today’s blog post is bursting with colour…
Even though on daily basis I’m more likely to be wearing black, grey or something neutral, sometimes I get the urge to bring some colour into my wardrobe. Usually brightly coloured accessories is how I do it, it is never the clothes that I go bold with. On this occasion however, I went all out by not only wearing blue shoes, but a red jacket too. Unlikely match (in my wardrobe especially), but I think it has worked well!
It all started when I saw this beautiful Sandro top – I just felt like the cut out star embroidery was so on trend and I loved how well combination of red and blue looked together. Instantly, I remembered the suede pair of dove blue Louboutins I had sitting at home and I knew it was meant to be! I wasn’t sure how I was going to complete the look – all I knew is that I wanted, NEEDED this top!
Luckily, It didn’t take long before I’ve found the most incredible red leather jacket in Topshop. It has a serious 80’s vibe as well as MJ vibe – two things I love very much! Was a no brainer, especially now that the jacket is sold out in many stores, so if you want to get your hands on it, do hurry.
A nice, on-trend, denim was the last item I picked up to complete the look. Wearing colour is so refreshing and really allows you to be creative and come up with some unusual looks. I know for many, dressing head to toe in colour is a regular occurrence, but I have to think twice before wearing something bright, therefore I definitely do give myself some credit for doing this! Now, all I’m thinking of is a way or 100 of how I can wear all the items separately.
